Vision Rescue engages children in education through vital frontline services—education access, healthcare, nutrition, and sports. These services are offered in high-risk slum communities to build trust and create safe learning spaces. By connecting with children early, we help prevent exploitation and encourage school readiness through consistent support, tailored learning, and a nurturing environment.
SUSTAIN
To sustain children in education, we support not just the child, but also their families and communities. We address deeper issues like illiteracy, lack of awareness, and systemic poverty — enabling long-term change. Through education, children gain access to vital information, understand their rights, and are empowered to make informed decisions, breaking free from the cycle of exploitation and living with dignity.

No Safe Place to Grow Up
Slum homes are often unstable and unsafe. Without proper shelter or protection, children face daily risks and uncertainty.

How We Make a Difference
We help children from slum communities start and stay in school through tailored education programs.

Beacon Learning Centre
We run pre-schools for kids aged 3–8, giving them the strong foundation they need to succeed in school. With a Montessori-style approach, most children are in nursery or pre-primary classes. This helps them confidently move into private or government schools from Class 1 onward.

Vision Rescue Bus
Where we can’t build centres, our bright yellow Bus brings learning to children at the edge of slum communities. It offers fun, non-formal education and a pathway to school. Each child also takes home a nutritious meal to share with their family.

Open Basic Education
For children aged 8–14 who missed school, we teach them through the Open Basic Education (OBE) program. They prepare for official exams and, once they pass, they’re admitted into regular schools with age-appropriate classes.

Tuition Centres
We train local youth to tutor school-going children who need extra help. These tuition centres are run within the slum communities, making learning easy and accessible. This model not only supports children’s education but also builds leadership and job skills among young adults in the same area.
